Urban Spa Chic will be scheduling Mircrodermabrasion appointments on a first call/email, first opening basis.
Please include in your message your name, phone number, the best days and times for your appointment. Again, we will be returning emails and phone calls in the order that they are received. Urban Spa Chic will do our best to schedule you on the day you prefer - please remember we do service customers other than Groupon.
In preparation for your Microdermabrasion...
- Avoid sun exposure 72 hours before and after your treatment (including tanning beds)
- Discontinue exfoliation prior and after to treatment (facial scrubs, alpha hydroxy acids, retinol, etc.) for 72 hours
- If you are prone to cold sores, see your physician for a prescription for Acyclovir, Zoviraz, or take supplements of L-Lysine along with beta-carotene and folic acid daily.
Things to expect...
- This treatment is for approximately 20 minutes
- You will be cleansed, MICRODERMED, soothed, hydrated and protected
- A few days after treatment your skin may become dry/dehydrated...we will inform you that it is best to hydrate the skin (adding water) to minimize dryness or flaking
- The skin may appear slightly pink, feel warm or hot or seem extra sensitive
- You MUST wear at least an SPF 20 EVERYDAY especially while receiving treatment.
- You will notice softer, smoother, rejuvenated skin after just 1 treatment however, it is best to do several treatments to achieve your goals.
note: we wish we could waive our magic wand and make all your wrinkles and skin issues go away with just one treatment so we want to remind you that it is recommended to receive at least 3 treatments spaced 10-14 days apart.
